Dr Melody Rodarte ordered an ultrasound that included a transvaginal internal procedure and failed to disclose that fact beforehand. I was not informed in advance that an invasive exam was part of the imaging order. There was no prior explanation sufficient to allow for informed consent. I sent her an email expressing my concern.
